In this installment of our Agent Spotlight series at Southwest Florida REGroup we’re interviewing Tammy Farrugia, who specializes in Cape Coral Real Estate. Let’s learn more about her buying/selling expertise, as well as get to know her a bit better outside of the real estate world.
What do you love about real estate, why’d you get into real estate in the first place?
Definitely the new friends that I make! I will be hosting Thanksgiving this year for several of my previous buyers turned friends that will be in town. I also love looking at home designs and decor. I was good at seeking out great deals for friends and family, so I thought it was a good fit for me.
Is there a particular area in Southwest Florida you concentrate on (or love to work in)?
Cape Coral is home for me, so of course I love sharing all of my favorite local finds with new residents.
What do you do for fun?
Boating and flying over our beautiful coast with my husband and two daughters. I also love watching live musical stage productions of which, Cape Coral and Fort Myers have a lot of options to choose from.
Favorite restaurant?
Point 57 has a unique but delicious menu. Sunday brunch is my favorite, hello bottomless mimosas!
What are your keys to success?
Customer service, knowledge and determination.

Any tips for new agents?
Don’t look for greener pastures. Starting and stopping will not help you. Stick with what the team has laid out for you and you will be successful. Take time to enjoy life during slower times and kick butt during the busy times.
