This is our first installment of our new series at Southwest Florida R.E. Group where we highlight new agents, getting to know them a bit better. Today we’re interviewing Mark Brown, who specializes in Naples, Bonita Springs, and Estero Real Estate.
What made you become a real estate agent?
I became an agent because I was tired of working for someone else’s dream. Corporate America. I have the entrepreneur mindset in that I wanted to build a flourishing business that I created and that I am passionate about.
What do you love about real estate?
I love real estate for many reasons. Even at a young age I have had a love for homes. I wanted a career that was fulfilling in that I would enjoy waking up every morning to go to “work” even though I don’t consider it work. Its what I do. I love the idea that I am privileged enough to help others achieve their dream of being a homeowner. The idea that my income is untapped and the fact my schedule is my schedule. I get what I put into it.
Why did you choose SWFL RE Group as your team?
I chose SWFL RE Group because they offered a hand in my career. They show genuine care for my success. They offer all the tools and support I need to get my career off the ground and beyond. Scott and Alex are leaders in our industry here in SWFL. In this industry who you surround yourself with matters.
Is there a particular area in Southwest Florida you concentrate on (or love to work in)?
I love all of SWFL and work it all from Cape Coral to Marco Island. If I had to choose one specific area it would be Bonita Springs because it still gives you that small beach town feel. I love that.
What do you do for fun?
I have fun everyday because I love my work. I enjoy viewing luxury homes. I enjoy working out and being with my wife and kids.
Favorite place to eat?
Too many to name but I am a huge pizza lover. I grew up with a Mellow Mushroom in my back yard literally so hands down Mellow Mushroom is my favorite.
Any thing else you’d like everyone to know about you?
Real Estate is not a career or a job for me its who I am. Its what I was meant for. The passion and love grow each day and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to do what I do everyday.
