In this installment of our Agent Spotlight series at Southwest Florida REGroup we’re interviewing Jennyfer Torres, who specializes in Cape Coral Real Estate. Let’s learn more about Jennyfer’s buying/selling expertise, as well as get to know her a bit better outside of the real estate world.
What do you love about real estate, why’d you get into real estate in the first place?
What I love about real estate is the opportunity to be able to help others achieve a dream, getting to know the people, the stories…it’s like you become family. We’re problem solvers and I do love that, every transaction is different and it challenges me. This is a very rewarding career where I have the privilege to share the excitement and accomplishments with my buyers and sellers. I decided to become a Real Estate agent because I always had an interest in the industry. Coming from corporate America, I wanted to be in a career where I had an opportunity for limitless growth while also having the flexibility to spend time with family, and be of service to others.
Is there a particular area in Southwest Florida you concentrate on (or love to work in)?
I work and have sold homes all over Southwest Florida, but being a Cape Coral resident for over 20 years, I would say Cape Coral is definitely my neighborhood and an area I know very well.
What do you do for fun?
For fun, I like to travel with my family, take the kids to Disney, cook, workout, go shopping, spend time with my friends, and enjoy a nice glass of wine 😁
I love food and have many! But, I would say Ruth’s Chris is definitely my favorite restaurant. Who doesn’t love a nice steak?
What are your keys to success?
Perseverance, patience, drive, faith, goals, and just always doing the right thing. Not looking at what your gaining but truly just being there to help others. Forget about the sale and start caring about people.
How has our system worked for you?
The systems have really helped me take my business to the next level. They’ve helped me stay on track and made sure things didn’t fall through the cracks, to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. They’ve also helped me with time management. I always had an issue staying on track and the systems have really helped me with that, plus having such a supportive team with fantastic coordinators. This platform is built for success.
Any tips for new agents?
DO NOT GIVE UP! If you fail pick yourself up and try again, every transaction teaches us a lesson. Remain positive no matter the obstacle and find a solution, remember WHY you are doing this, and stay consistent. Trust in the systems and have faith in yourself. Remember, you are impacting people’s lives and they chose you to be part of an important transaction.
